By using the CodexCV platform, you agree to the following terms of use. These terms apply equally to all users, wherever they are located.
1. Description of service
CodexCV is an online platform that lets users create, edit, and download professional CVs/resumes as PDF files.
2. Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. We recommend that you never share your password with anyone else. You must be at least 16 years old to use the platform.
3. Content and prohibited use
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into your CV. The platform is only a formatting and design tool. Using the platform to create fraudulent documents, impersonate someone else, or for any other deceptive purpose is prohibited.
4. AI-powered features
CodexCV uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude model) in a number of features: CV import, translation, job-match scoring, bullet rewriting, cover letters, mentor review, and interview practice. The output of these features is generated automatically, is not reviewed by a human, and can be wrong, incomplete, or misread the context. It is assistive in nature, not professional legal, financial, or career advice — you must always review and, where needed, correct it yourself before relying on it. CodexCV is not liable for the accuracy of AI-generated content.
5. Pricing and payments
CodexCV offers two separate paid products. The "Job Search Pass" is a one-time payment that unlocks full Pro access (unlimited CVs, all templates, analytics) for 90 days from the moment of purchase; it does not auto-renew and there is nothing to cancel. Note: buying another pass before the current one expires does not stack on top of the remaining days — it starts a fresh 90-day period from the new purchase. "AI Plus" is a separate, monthly recurring subscription that only raises the monthly credit limit for AI features; you can cancel it at any time from the management panel on your account page, and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Payments for both products are processed by a third-party payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), and refund requests are handled under their consumer policies — email seyidzade.mirnicat@gmail.com for refund questions.
6. Intellectual property
You own the content (text, images, etc.) you add to your CV. The platform's design, code, templates, and brand belong to CodexCV and may not be copied or resold without permission.
7. Changes to the service
The platform may evolve, change functionality, or be temporarily unavailable. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect consequences of using the platform (for example, the outcome of a job interview) — CodexCV is only a CV-building tool and does not guarantee employment.
9. Account termination
You can permanently delete your own account yourself, immediately, at any time from the "Danger zone" section on your account page — this cannot be undone and there is no trash bin for it. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended without notice.
10. Intellectual property infringement notices
If you believe that content on CodexCV (for example, an image or text uploaded by another user) infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, email seyidzade.mirnicat@gmail.com with: (1) a description and evidence of the right you claim is infringed, (2) the exact location (link) of the disputed content, (3) your contact details, (4) a written statement affirming the claim is accurate. On receiving a well-founded notice, we will review the disputed content and remove it from the system within a reasonable time.
11. Sanctions and export control
You may only use CodexCV in compliance with applicable international sanctions regimes (including those of the UN, US OFAC, EU, and UK). If you are located in a comprehensively sanctioned country or region, or appear on a restricted/sanctioned party list, you must not use the platform. Accounts found to violate this may be suspended without notice.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not limit any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live. Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record for payments, collects VAT/sales tax at checkout and, where applicable, honors the 14-day digital-content withdrawal right for EU/UK consumers under its own policies.
