CodexCV Autofill browser extension
Fill out job application forms automatically using the details from one of your CVs — no more retyping your name, email, and work history on every job site.
How it works
- 1Export a profile from a CV on your dashboard — a small file with your name, contact details, and work history.
- 2Load that file into the extension.
- 3On any job application page, click the extension icon and press "Fill this page."
Installing (Chrome, Edge, Brave)
- 1Download and unzip the file above.
- 2Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions) in your browser.
- 3Turn on "Developer mode" in the top right.
- 4Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder.
- 5The CodexCV Autofill icon appears in your toolbar.
This extension isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so it's installed manually using "Load unpacked" — the same steps developers use to test their own extensions. It's completely safe; you can read every line of its source code in the downloaded files.
Your data stays on your device
The profile you load is stored only in your browser's local extension storage. Nothing is filled in automatically, and the extension never sends anything to CodexCV or anyone else — you choose exactly when to fill a page.
