CV format guide
What to know about local CV conventions before you apply in this country.
In Italy, a photo is often included but increasingly seen as optional — leaving it off won't disqualify you. The EU's standard Europass template is widely used, length is 2 pages, and a cover letter is expected.
These are general guidelines based on common practice, not hard rules — a specific employer's expectations can differ. When in doubt, it's safe to keep both a with-photo and a without-photo version ready.
