What to know about local CV conventions before you apply in this country.
In Sweden, a photo was traditionally normal, but international employers increasingly advise against it — there's no legal requirement, and "leave it out if unsure" is common advice. 1-2 pages, a minimalist and concrete style is preferred, and personal ID number/date of birth are left off.
These are general guidelines based on common practice, not hard rules — a specific employer's expectations can differ. When in doubt, it's safe to keep both a with-photo and a without-photo version ready.
