In the UAE, a photo is common at local/traditional and customer-facing employers but not required at multinationals/tech firms — it depends heavily on the employer type. When uploading to ATS portals, it's safer to leave the photo out. 1-2 pages is normal.
These are general guidelines based on common practice, not hard rules — a specific employer's expectations can differ. When in doubt, it's safe to keep both a with-photo and a without-photo version ready.
